Summary

GOOH! is a single‑player game. We do not collect personal information, we do not use analytics or tracking, and we do not share any data with third parties. All gameplay progress, profiles, and settings stay on your device. The only optional online feature is Apple Game Center, which you control through your Apple ID.

If you can't be bothered to read the rest: nothing leaves your device except Game Center scores and achievement progress, and only if you're signed in to Game Center.

1. Information We Collect

The app itself collects no personal data. Specifically:

- No name, email, phone number, address, or account registration.
- No advertising identifiers (IDFA) are requested or used.
- No analytics, crash reporting, or telemetry SDKs are embedded.
- No network requests are made by the app other than those required by Apple's Game Center framework when you are signed in.

What is stored locally on your device to make the game work:
- Save profiles – chosen player name/avatar, completed levels, per‑level best times, rescue counts, and unlock progress.
- Game settings – difficulty, audio levels, control preferences, accessibility options, tutorial state.
- Window placement – remembered position of the game window in your space for convenience.

This data is stored via Apple's standard `UserDefaults` and the app's Documents directory. It never leaves your device via the app.

2. How We Use That Data

Only to run the game: loading your last profile, showing your scores,

resuming progress, and remembering your preferences.

3. Spatial Data (World Sensing and Hand Tracking)

The app requests the following permissions on visionOS:

- World sensing – used to position game content relative to your head and your room while you play.

- Hand tracking – used so you can fly the helicopter/UFO and trigger the tractor beam with hand gestures.

These signals are processed on‑device by Apple's ARKit / RealityKit frameworks. The app does not record, store, or transmit camera imagery, room scans, hand skeletons, or any derived spatial data. Only the current frame's values are read, used to drive gameplay, and discarded.

4. Game Center

If you are signed in to Game Center, the app may submit to Apple:

- Leaderboard scores (for example, fastest time per level, total aliens rescued).

- Achievement progress.

This data is tied to your Game Center identity, not to anything we collect. Game Center is operated by Apple and is governed by [Apple's Privacy Policy](https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/). You can disable Game Center at any time in Settings → Game Center on your device; the game remains fully playable without it.

5. Third‑Party Services

None. The app contains no third‑party advertising, analytics, attribution, social, or crash‑reporting SDKs. The only external service it communicates with is Apple's Game Center (see above).

6. Children's Privacy

The app is suitable for general audiences. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Age gating for Game Center and in‑app communication features is handled by Apple's Screen Time / Family settings on the device.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

- Local data. Deleting the app from your Vision Pro removes all local save profiles, settings, and window‑placement data.
- Game Center data. Scores and achievements associated with your Game Center account are managed by Apple. You can manage or remove them through your Apple ID / Game Center settings. We do not hold any server‑side copy of your data because we do not operate any server that stores it.

8. Security
Because all game data is stored locally on your device, it inherits the protections of visionOS's app sandbox and the device's encryption at rest. We do not transmit your data, so there is no transport to secure on our side.

9. Your Rights
You are always in control of the data on your device:

- Access. Your save profiles and settings are visible in‑app.
- Correction / deletion. You can reset progress or delete profiles from Settings → Profiles inside the app, or remove all data by uninstalling the app.
- Game Center. Managed through your Apple ID.

Residents of the EU/EEA, UK, California and similar jurisdictions may have additional statutory rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection). Since we do not collect personal data, there is generally nothing for us to action, but you can still contact us using the details below.

10. International Users
The app does not transfer your personal data across borders because it does not transmit personal data at all. Game Center transfers, if any, are performed by Apple under their own policy.

11. Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes in a material way, the updated version will be published at the same URL and the "Last updated" date at the top will change. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
